We were recently having serious problems with my wife’s and my computers. I really hated to call one of the pro troubleshooters, recalling pervious attempts to solve our problems. Luckily, we mentioned our problem to a close friend and she highly recommened Eric Steinmetz to take a look at our problems. Eric came the next day and thoroughly eliminated all our problems. At the same time he removed unnecessary items that we really didn’t need but had been on our computers since day one. This greatly improved the working speed. He also provided some much needed tutoring. All in all, when he left, our computers were running great and at the high speed we were paying for. When it came time to pay the bill I was very satisified with the charges, having previously paid more for much less service. I am seriously considering having Eric do a tune up on each computer twice a year. For the money, it is well worth it. We are completely satisfied and highly recommend Eric to others.

I met Eric at work at Parkway South High School where I am a teacher and knew right away that he was a computer wiz! Not only was he patient and knowledgeable, he was the consummate professional. I consider myself to be quite “techy” but when I needed help with my personal laptop, I knew who to turn to. Eric speedily fixed our laptop and also gave future advice on how to prevent viruses and make our computer run quicker. Eric is reasonably priced and his service is very high quality. He has also worked on my family member’s computers and they highly recommend him as well. Steinmetz TechnoLogic is a great business!

Patient, knowledgeable, friendly – well, if ever there was truth in advertising, Eric’s website says it all!  I normally wouldn’t be happy about mis-directed product deliveries, but when I tracked down Eric to tell him his FedEx package was sitting on my front porch, it was ‘karma’ – I needed some computer guidance, and he casually mentioned that he “did some computer consulting”.  The fact that he was on staff as the ‘tech guru’ for the high school at that time gave me the comfort level to set up our first appointment.

I soon found out that Eric worked in ways that were refreshingly unique to other computer support techs.

For starters, Eric is incredibly knowledgeable about computer systems, but he is careful to speak to customers in ‘everyday language’ that the average home-computer user can understand.  He makes it clear that there are no dumb questions – you immediately get the sense that his goal is to help people learn how to use, enjoy and protect their computers.  To me, that goes way above and beyond just fixing the problem!

I consider myself to be relatively computer-savvy, but even after years of using computers, there were many things I didn’t know about my computer system or even about some of the programs I had been using.  Eric took the time to show me some really cool tips and tricks for getting the most out of my computer.  I appreciate that he takes a conservative approach to working with customers; for instance, rather than coming in and declaring that I needed to completely overhaul my system, he listened to my needs, understood my budget, and planned out a series of things I could do for the short-term, as well as the long-term.  He answers questions thoughtfully, patiently, and, perhaps most importantly, without a patronizing tone that I’m sure most people have experienced when they’ve used other company’s so-called ‘customer service’.

As a small-business owner myself, I understand the value of ‘word-of-mouth advertising’, as well as the importance of responsive customer service.  That’s why I have happily referred numerous friends to Eric and will continue to do so.  Do yourself a favor and avoid the large retail geeks.  You’re going to find a stress-free, positive experience when you call Eric!

As part of my New Year’s resolutions, I wanted to get “digitally organized”.  Eric was very prompt on getting back to me, very professional, but most importantly, he was PATIENT!!  I have used other companies to help me with my technical needs before I found Eric, but I was always left feeling more incompetent than when I started.  Eric explains technical terms in very easy ways to understand, and makes me feel more confident with my computer.  I was shocked at how much he knew about computers!!!  He is the best!!
